ADR loading provision CV36
Prefer open or ventilated units; if closed, isolate the cab from the load and mark doors "WARNING NO VENTILATION OPEN WITH CAUTION" (≥ 25 mm).
Packages should preferably go in open or ventilated vehicles or containers. If that is not practicable and other closed units are used, gas must not pass between the load compartment and the driver cab, and the cargo doors are marked WARNING / NO VENTILATION / OPEN WITH CAUTION in letters at least 25 mm high, in a language the consignor considers appropriate. For UN 2211 and UN 3314 this door mark is not needed when the unit is already marked under special provision 965 of the IMDG Code.
| Value | Applies when |
|---|---|
| 25 mm | minimum letter height of the door warning |
Conditions
- Open or ventilated vehicles or containers preferred.
- Closed units: no gas exchange between load compartment and driver cab; door warning mark.
- UN 2211 and UN 3314: mark not required if already marked under IMDG Code special provision 965 (a flammable-vapour caution mark, letters at least 25 mm).
