ADR label model 7X

Class 7 placeholder: apply radioactive label 7A, 7B or 7C according to the package category, or placard 7D on vehicles and containers.

In Column (5), 7X is not itself a label model. For Class 7 entries it stands for whichever of label models 7A (Category I-WHITE), 7B (Category II-YELLOW) or 7C (Category III-YELLOW) fits the category the package, overpack or container is assigned under 5.1.5.3.4. On containers, tanks and vehicles the corresponding display is placard 7D. Each 7A/7B/7C label carries a black trefoil and must be completed with the contents, the activity and (for 7B and 7C) the transport index; labels go on two opposite sides of a package or overpack, or all four sides of a container or tank.
