ADR packing instruction IBC07

Heading in ADR: “PACKING INSTRUCTION”

IBC07 adds wooden IBCs (11C, 11D, 11F) with siftproof liners to the metal, rigid plastics and composite types of IBC06.

IBC07 permits the same metal, rigid plastics and composite IBCs as IBC06, plus wooden IBCs 11C, 11D and 11F (full code lists in permitted_packagings). The general rules in sections 4.1.1 to 4.1.3 apply. Solids that could liquefy in transit fall under 4.1.3.4, and liners in wooden IBCs must be siftproof. B18 requires pressure-release design for UN 3531 and 3533, and B20 lets UN 3550 travel in flexible IBCs 13H3 or 13H4 with siftproof liners.
