ADR packing instruction P114(a)
Heading in ADR: “P114(a) PACKING INSTRUCTION”
Wetted solid explosives: inner bags or receptacles, intermediate bags, receptacles or wooden partitions, outer boxes (no 4B) or drums.
Class 1 packing instruction: it sets out which inner, intermediate and outer packagings may be combined for the explosives assigned to it, and 4.1.1, 4.1.3 and the explosives rules of 4.1.5 apply on top. Applies to wetted solids. Aluminium boxes (4B) are not among the outer boxes. Intermediate packagings may be omitted when leakproof removable-head drums form the outer packaging.
