UN 0241 may use IBC100 only for water-based oxidizer/nitrate explosives without nitro-derivatives such as TNT; no metal IBCs.

For UN 0241, IBC100 is allowed only for substances in which water is an essential ingredient and which hold high proportions of ammonium nitrate or other oxidizers, partly or wholly dissolved. Other constituents may include hydrocarbons or aluminium powder, but nitro-derivatives such as trinitrotoluene are excluded. Metal IBCs are not allowed.
