Detonating cord ends must be sealed (e.g. a firmly fixed plug); flexible cord ends fastened securely.

In P139, for detonating cord (UN 0065, 0102, 0104, 0289, 0290) the cord ends must be sealed so explosive cannot leak out, for instance with a firmly fixed plug. For flexible detonating cord the ends must also be securely fastened.
