ADR special packing provision PP87

UN 1950 waste aerosols under SP 327: packagings need a liquid-retention means and enough ventilation to avoid dangerous atmospheres.

In P207, packagings for waste aerosols (UN 1950) carried under special provision 327 must have a way of holding any free liquid that leaks in carriage, such as absorbent material. They must also be ventilated well enough to prevent a dangerous atmosphere forming and pressure building up.

Note. P003 (page 54) also lists PP87 but marks it "(Deleted)", so it has no effect there; the operative text is the P207 one cited here. The large-packaging counterpart is L2 (LP200) and the gas-cartridge counterpart is PP96 (P003).

Refers to: special provision 327.
