ADR special packing provision RR10
RID/ADR only: UN 1614 absorbed in porous material goes in metal receptacles of at most 7.5 L, fully filled, in wooden cases.
For UN 1614 when completely absorbed in an inert porous material, P601 requires metal receptacles of no more than 7.5 litres, placed in wooden cases so they cannot touch each other. The receptacles must be completely filled with the porous material, which must not settle or leave dangerous voids even after long use, under impact, or at temperatures up to 50 °C. This provision is specific to RID and ADR.
