Explosives in bags, receptacles or sheets, inside outer bags, boxes, drums or jerricans; no intermediate packaging.
Class 1 packing instruction: it sets out which inner, intermediate and outer packagings may be combined for the explosives assigned to it, and 4.1.1, 4.1.3 and the explosives rules of 4.1.5 apply on top. Inners are water- and oil-resistant paper, plastics, coated textile or sift-proof woven plastics bags; water-resistant fibreboard, metal, plastics or sift-proof wood receptacles; or water-resistant paper, waxed paper or plastics sheets. Outers may be bags, boxes, drums or steel or plastics jerricans.
