ADR special provision 217
Non-regulated solids mixed with toxic liquids may use this entry without Class 6.1 testing if no free liquid is visible; not for packing group I liquids.
Mixtures of non-dangerous solids with toxic liquids can go under this entry without first applying the Class 6.1 classification criteria, as long as no free liquid can be seen when the goods are loaded or when the packaging or cargo transport unit is closed. Solids containing a packing group I liquid may not use the entry.
