Polyester resin kits: Class 3 or 4.1 base (PG II/III) plus type D, E or F peroxide activator without temperature control; LQ limit applies to base.
A polyester resin kit has two parts: a base material of Class 3 or Class 4.1 in packing group II or III, and an organic peroxide activator. The peroxide must be type D, E or F and must not need temperature control. The kit takes packing group II or III, set by applying the Class 3 or Class 4.1 criteria to the base material. The column (7a) limited quantity limit in Table A refers to the base material.
