ADR special provision 337
By air, Type B(U) and B(M) packages are capped: as certified for low dispersible material, 3 000 A1 or 100 000 A2 for special form, 3 000 A2 otherwise.
Activity limits that apply when Type B(U) and Type B(M) packages are carried by air. Low dispersible radioactive material is limited to what the package design certificate of approval authorizes. Special form material is limited to 3 000 A1 or 100 000 A2, whichever is lower. All other radioactive material is limited to 3 000 A2.
Conditions
- (a) Low dispersible radioactive material: the activity authorized in the certificate of approval for the package design.
- (b) Special form material: the lower of 3 000 A1 and 100 000 A2.
- (c) Any other radioactive material: 3 000 A2.
