Nitrocellulose must pass the Bergmann-Junk or methyl violet paper test (Manual Appendix 10); type 3 (c) tests are not required.

The nitrocellulose in this entry must satisfy the criteria of either the Bergmann-Junk test or the methyl violet paper test set out in Appendix 10 of the Manual of Tests and Criteria. Tests of type 3 (c) do not have to be performed.
