ADR special provision 404
Vehicles powered by short-circuited sodium ion batteries, with no other dangerous goods, are not subject to further ADR provisions.
A vehicle powered by sodium ion batteries and carrying no other dangerous goods is outside the rest of ADR when the battery is short-circuited so it holds no electrical energy. The short circuit must be easy to verify, for example by a busbar across the terminals.
