ADR special provision 552
Self-igniting powdered or flammable metals and alloys are Class 4.2; those emitting flammable gas with water are Class 4.3.
Metals and metal alloys in powder or other flammable form that can ignite spontaneously belong to Class 4.2. Those in such forms that release flammable gases on contact with water belong to Class 4.3.
