ADR special provision 582

Covers refrigerant gas mixtures F1, F2 and F3, defined by maximum vapour pressure at 70 °C and minimum density at 50 °C.

Among other things the entry covers "R ..." refrigerant gas mixtures defined by two properties. F1: vapour pressure at 70 °C at most 1.3 MPa, density at 50 °C at least 1.30 kg/l. F2: 1.9 MPa and 1.21 kg/l. F3: 3.0 MPa and 1.09 kg/l. "Mixture F1/F2/F3" may serve as the technical name for 5.4.1.1. R 11, R 113, R 113a, R 133 and R 133b are not Class 2 gases themselves but may be components of F1 to F3. The reference densities are those of dichlorofluoromethane, dichlorodifluoromethane and chlorodifluoromethane respectively.
