ADR special provision 584
Gas in sound metal capsules (sodors, sparklets) is outside ADR at ≤ 25 g per capsule, ≤ 0.75 g/cm³ and ≤ 0.5 % air.
The gas is exempt from ADR when every listed condition holds: no more than 0.5 % air in the gas phase; carried in metal capsules (sodors, sparklets) with no defects weakening them; the capsule closure is leakproof; no more than 25 g of gas per capsule; and no more than 0.75 g of gas per cm³ of capsule capacity.

Conditions
- Air content in the gas phase is 0.5 % or less.
- Capsules are metal and free from strength-impairing defects.
- The capsule closure is leakproof.
- Each capsule holds 25 g of gas or less, and 0.75 g or less per cm³ of capacity.
