ADR special provision 592

Empty uncleaned packagings, IBCs, large packagings, tanks and small containers that held this substance are not subject to ADR.

Once emptied, uncleaned means of containment that carried this substance — packagings including IBCs and large packagings, tank-vehicles, demountable tanks, portable tanks, tank-containers and small containers — fall outside ADR.
