ADR special provision 672
Machinery or apparatus under this entry and SP 301 are exempt from other ADR rules if in strong outer packaging or self-protecting.
Machines, apparatus and devices under this entry that conform to special provision 301 are released from all other ADR provisions if either packed in a strong, suitable outer packaging meeting 4.1.1.1, or carried unpackaged where the article's own construction adequately protects the receptacles holding the dangerous goods.
Conditions
- Strong outer packaging of suitable material, strength and design for its capacity and use, meeting 4.1.1.1; or
- No outer packaging where the article itself adequately protects its dangerous-goods receptacles.
