ADR special packing provision PP52
UN 0160 and 0161 in metal drums: metal packagings must be built to prevent explosion from internal pressure rise.
In P114(b), when UN 0160 or 0161 is packed with metal drums (1A1, 1A2, 1B1, 1B2, 1N1, 1N2) as outer packagings, the metal packagings must be constructed so that an increase in internal pressure, from internal or external causes, cannot lead to an explosion.
Note. Appears only in P114(b). PP76 (P143) states the same construction requirement for other UN numbers.
