ADR special packing provision PP84
UN 1057 needs rigid PG II outer packagings arranged to stop movement, accidental ignition and gas or liquid release.
For UN 1057 under P002, the outer packagings must be rigid and meet the packing group II performance level. The packagings must be designed, constructed and arranged so the devices cannot move, ignite accidentally or release flammable gas or liquid by accident. A note points to special provision 654 for waste lighters collected separately.
Note. Appears only in P002. RR5 in the same instruction relaxes it for packages of 10 kg gross or less.
