ADR tank special provision TC6
Tanks of aluminium at least 99 % pure or of aluminium alloy need walls no thicker than 15 mm, whatever 6.8.2.1.17 gives.
For tanks made of aluminium with at least 99 % purity, or of aluminium alloy, the wall thickness does not have to exceed 15 mm even when the 6.8.2.1.17 calculation produces a greater figure.
