ADR tank special provision TE18
Tanks for substances filled above 190 °C need deflectors at right angles to the top filling openings.
Where the cargo is loaded at more than 190 °C, deflectors set perpendicular to the upper filling openings are required, so that the shell wall is not suddenly heated in one spot during filling.
