ADR tank special provision TM4

Chemical name and approved concentration stamped on the plate, or directly on a suitably reinforced shell.

The tank must also carry the chemical name of the substance together with its approved concentration. This is stamped or applied by a similar method either on the 6.8.2.5.2 plate or onto the shell itself where the walls are reinforced enough that tank strength is not reduced.

Note. Per the NOTE heading 6.8.4 (e), these particulars go in an official language of the approving country, plus English, French or German when that language is none of the three, unless the countries involved agree otherwise.

Refers to: 6.8.2.5.2.
