ADR tank special provision TM7

The trefoil symbol of 5.2.1.7.6 must be stamped on the tank plate, or engraved on a suitably reinforced shell wall.

The trefoil described in 5.2.1.7.6 is to be marked by stamping or an equivalent method on the plate of 6.8.2.5.1. It may instead be engraved straight onto the shell walls if they are reinforced so that the shell's strength is unaffected.

Note. Per the NOTE heading 6.8.4 (e), these particulars go in an official language of the approving country, plus English, French or German when that language is none of the three, unless the countries involved agree otherwise.
