Carriage in bulk

Whether the goods may be carried in bulk, and in what. These codes appear in Table A column 17; ADR sets them out in section 7.3.3 of ADR 2025 (ECE/TRANS/352). 3 codes are in use, 0 reviewed. Each meaning below is a paraphrase in FreightUtils' own words, not the official text.

• VC2 · 268 rows
  Bulk carriage allowed in closed vehicles, closed containers or closed bulk containers (BK2 also usable if 7.3.3.2 met).
• VC1 · 263 rows
  Bulk carriage allowed in sheeted vehicles, sheeted containers or sheeted bulk containers (BK1 also usable if 7.3.3.2 met).
• VC3 · 4 rows
  Bulk carriage allowed in specially equipped vehicles or containers built to standards set by the country-of-origin authority.
