ADR bulk container code BK3

Carriage in flexible bulk containers is allowed: max 14 t gross, height-to-width ≤ 1.1, two-year service life.

BK3 in column (10) authorises carriage in flexible bulk containers built to Chapter 6.11, alongside the general rules of 7.3.1 and the class-specific rules of 7.3.2. Before filling, the container is examined for damage to slings, straps, body fabric, locking parts and liners. It may be used for dangerous goods for two years from its date of manufacture. A vent is required where gases could build up dangerously, designed to keep out foreign matter and water. Once loaded the height-to-width ratio must not exceed 1.1 and the gross mass must not exceed 14 tonnes.
