ADR special provision 676
Polymerizing substances carried for disposal or recycling may skip SP 386 temperature control if checked, quick, shaded, < 45 °C and ≤ 1000 l.
For packages of polymerizing substances carried for disposal or recycling, the special provision 386 controls and the linked requirements of Chapters 5.4 and 7.1 may be dropped if six conditions are met. A pre-loading check shows package temperature close to ambient; carriage completes within 24 hours of that check; packages are shielded from sun and other heat sources; ambient temperature stays below 45 °C; vehicles and containers are adequately ventilated; and packages hold at most 1000 litres. Extra measures such as inhibitors may be taken into account in the assessment.
