ADR portable tank provision TP10
Lead lining at least 5 mm thick, tested yearly, or another approved lining; 3-month grace after lining inspection lapses.
The tank needs a lead lining of at least 5 mm, tested every year, or another suitable lining approved by the competent authority. After the last lining inspection has expired, the tank may still be offered for carriage for up to three months, once emptied but before cleaning, so it can reach the next test or inspection before being refilled.
| Value | Applies when |
|---|---|
| 5 mm | minimum lead lining thickness |
| 3 months | maximum period after lining-inspection expiry, emptied but uncleaned, to reach the next test |
