ADR tank special provision TE7
Discharge needs two independent shut-offs in series: an approved quick-closing internal valve and an external valve, plus a blank flange.
The bottom discharge must have two shut-off devices in series that work independently: first an approved quick-closing internal stop-valve, then an external stop-valve, the internal one at one end of the discharge pipe and the external one at the other. The outlet of every external stop-valve must also be closed by a blank flange or an equally secure device. The internal valve must be built so that, if the pipe is torn away, it stays attached to the shell and closed.
