ADR tank special provision TU43
An empty uncleaned tank may travel up to three months past its lining inspection expiry, to reach that inspection before refilling.
After the last lining inspection has expired, an emptied but uncleaned tank may still be offered for carriage for up to three months beyond that date. The allowance exists only so the tank can reach its next lining inspection before it is refilled. It links to TT2 in 6.8.4 (d).
