ADR 2027 was accepted: depositary notification C.N.395.2026 (9 October 2026) records no objection to the amendments proposed by C.N.252.2026. It applies from 1 January 2027, and ADR 2025 may still be applied until 30 June 2027 (1.6.1.1).

How the check works

Each UN number on the list is looked up in the ADR 2027 change list that every UN page already shows: the amendments the UNECE Working Party adopted for ADR 2027, read instruction by instruction and replayed on the ADR 2025 Table A values FreightUtils serves. For every UN number you get the same answer as its UN page, with the document and PDF page each change comes from.

A change to a column FreightUtils serves (name, class, classification code, packing group, labels, special provisions, limited and excepted quantities, transport category and tunnel code, hazard identification number) is shown as the ADR 2025 value and the ADR 2027 value. A change to a column it does not serve, such as packing instructions, tank codes or carriage provisions, is named with its column and source, and the value is in the source document. New entries, deleted entries and UN numbers with no Table A change are said so in one line each. A number that is not an entry in ADR 2025 Table A is listed as such.

The check covers Table A only. Other chapters of ADR 2027 change too, so a UN number with no Table A change can still be affected. The CSV holds one row per change with its source, for a spreadsheet or a record; the print view keeps the summary, every UN number and the citations.
