Heading in ADR: “PACKING INSTRUCTION”
IBC99: only IBCs the competent authority has approved for the goods may be used, with proof of approval travelling with each consignment.
IBC99 lists no IBC types; instead the IBC must carry a competent authority approval for the specific goods. Every consignment needs either a copy of that approval or a statement in the transport document that the packaging was approved by the competent authority.
