ADR tank special provision TE9
A top-mounted shut-off device must stop pressure build-up from decomposition, liquid leakage and entry of foreign matter.
The upper part of the tank needs a shut-off device that prevents pressure building inside the shell as the cargo decomposes, stops liquid escaping and keeps foreign matter out.
