ADR portable tank provision TP24

Tank may have an approved vapour-space device that vents slow-decomposition pressure but stops liquid leaking.

The portable tank may carry a device placed in the vapour space (at maximum filling) to stop pressure building up from slow decomposition of the substance. The device must also keep liquid from leaking unacceptably if the tank overturns and keep foreign matter out. It needs approval from the competent authority or its authorized body.
