- Tunnels
- Tunnel code (E): in tanks, Prohibited in E; in other carriage, Prohibited in E. Every category except E. (ADR 8.6.4; from the ADR table itself)
- Small-load exemption
- Transport category 3: at most 1000 per transport unit under 1.1.3.6, counted ×1 toward the 1,000-point limit (ADR 1.1.3.6.3; from the ADR table itself)
- Labels
- Labels: model 5.1 (Oxidizing substances) (ADR 5.2.2.2.2, label model No. 5.1; paraphrase, not yet reviewed)
- Packing
- Packing instruction P504: Combination packagings by inner material (glass 5 l/75 kg, plastics 30 l/75 kg, metal 40 l/125 or 225 kg), single drums 250 l, jerricans 60 l, composites. Packing instruction IBC02: Liquids under IBC02 may use metal (31A/31B/31N), rigid plastics (31H1/31H2) or composite 31HZ1 IBCs, with B and BB limits per UN number. Packing instruction R001: R001 permits light gauge metal packagings 0A1 and 0A2 up to 40 l / 50 kg for packing groups II and III; packing group I is not allowed. Special packing provision PP10: Venting required: P001 for UN 1791 packing group II; P504 for UN 2014, 2984 and 3149. Special packing provision B5: UN 1791, 2014, 2984 and 3149 in IBCs need a venting device, with its inlet in the vapour space. Mixed packing provision MP15: Up to 3 litres per inner packaging may be mixed with goods of other codes or classes that permit it, or with non-ADR goods. (ADR 4.1.4.1, P504, 4.1.4.2, IBC02, 4.1.4.1, R001, 4.1.4.1, P001, PP10, 4.1.4.2, IBC02, B5, 4.1.10.4, MP15; paraphrase, not yet reviewed)
- Tanks
- Portable tank instruction T4: Portable tank, Class 1 and 3–9: test 2.65 bar; shell See 6.7.2.4.2; relief Normal; bottom openings See 6.7.2.6.3. Portable tank provision TP1: Portable tank must not be filled beyond the degree of filling set by 4.2.1.9.2 (the 97-based formula). Portable tank provision TP6: Tank needs pressure-relief devices sized to its capacity and the substance so it cannot burst, even in a fire. Portable tank provision TP24: Tank may have an approved vapour-space device that vents slow-decomposition pressure but stops liquid leaking. Tank code LGBV: ADR tank code for Classes 1 and 3–9: liquid tank, G (general minimum), openings B, valves/devices V. — L: tank for liquid-state substances (liquids, or solids handed over molten); G: minimum calculation pressure under the general requirements of 6.8.2.1.14; B: filling or discharge openings at the bottom, each with 3 closures; V: has a 6.8.2.2.6 breather device but no flame-propagation protection, or is not explosion-pressure-shock resistant Tank provision TU3: Shell interior and every part touching the substance kept clean; no lubricant that could react dangerously with it on pumps or valves. Tank provision TC2: Shells and equipment of aluminium at least 99.5 % pure or a steel that will not decompose hydrogen peroxide; aluminium walls capped at 15 mm. Tank provision TE8: Connections to the external pipe-sockets must be of materials that do not cause hydrogen peroxide to decompose. Tank provision TE11: Shell and service equipment must keep out foreign matter, prevent leakage and stop dangerous decomposition pressure; a suitable safety valve suffices. Tank provision TT1: Pure aluminium tanks need initial and periodic hydraulic tests at only 250 kPa (2.5 bar) gauge. Vehicle for tank carriage: AT — Tank vehicle for dangerous goods that is not EX/III, FL or a MEMU: tanks over 1 m³ / 3 m³, or battery-vehicle over 1 m³. (ADR 4.2.5.2.6, portable tank instruction T4, 4.2.5.3, TP1, 4.2.5.3, TP6, 4.2.5.3, TP24, 4.3.4.1.1, tank code LGBV, 4.3.5, TU3, 6.8.4 (a), TC2, 6.8.4 (b), TE8, 6.8.4 (b), TE11, 6.8.4 (d), TT1, 9.1.1.2, AT vehicle; paraphrase, not yet reviewed)
- Carriage
- Loading provision CV24: Clean the vehicle or container of combustible debris before loading; no readily flammable stowage material. (ADR 7.5.11, CV24; paraphrase, not yet reviewed)
